After a long summer recess, the gang all got back together to play one more round of Hold 'em before the Tournament of Champions. It may have been late September, but the temperature was hot outside - the card playing was even hotter inside!
Bill H brings to the table a gentle spirit. His drive to win is exceeded by his drive to be civil. He is kind and curtious, saying "thank you" when you add to his big win, or, "I'm sorry" when he takes your last 100 in chips. Not known for his table talk, he will get into other players heads simply by smiling as he splashes the pot. The WCRPL 2006-2007 season began with the traditional Home Opener. An even dozen players bought in, including last season's Grand Champion, Eric S. Could he continue his hot streak for one more night?

Here's something that only us Geeks will enjoy. Seems researchers in Alberta Canada think that Texas Hold-Em, not chess, should be the standard for researching artifical intelligence. Check here for more details.
