Poker at Pierre's
Seven players met at Eric’s pad (AKA Pierre’s Fun Parlor Northeast) to play a bit of poker. Among them, only three players were veterans of this first season of WCRPL play; Bill H, Josh M, and yours truly. More than half the field were newcomers, but that didn’t stop the chips from flying!
The highlights of this game consisted of bad beats, and great betting – Bullets were no guarantee of a winning hand, as three times the Aces under were beaten – mostly on the river. And even though early on, Josh couldn’t buy a decent hand, he ended taking the whole enchilada (First Place and a free seat at the WCRPL Championship Tournament) with a J-10 against runner up, Kyle H. Ryan finally finished in the money, taking up third.
