Welcome to the Wet College Radio Poker League Homepage. The WCRPL is comprised of a rag-tag bunch of card players who gather once every now and then to eat, drink, and play poker. In this league, it's all about having fun, but finishing "in the money" every now and then sure doesn't hurt!

Chris N (AKA "The Leprechaun")

He has played in only one WCRPL tourney, but, boy, did he leave his mark! Taking out a total of five players during the WCRPL Home Opener, Chis became the first WCRPL semi-finalist ever. His skill as a card player was only surpassed by his luck, thus his alias. But sometimes, as Chris will attest, it's better to be lucky, then good.

Change in Tournaments?

11.28.05 - In the past, all tournaments have been $25+$5 to buyin/addon. But what if the WCRPL changed it's format to a lower-stakes game? Instead of a big game, two smaller ones for a lower buyin? Check the Forums here for more details, and to voice your opinions.

Just Announced - The Next Game

11.28.05 - The next qualifying tourney date has been set for Jan 14th of 2006. The 2nd Annual MLK Memorial has been scheduled. Check the Forums here for more details!

The Mid-Fall Open

11.19.05 - If anyone ever asks if rebuys are worth it, point them in the direction of Bob Maffeo. 13 players met at the posh Beck Resort and Casino for the third of five qualifying tournaments. Click here for results!

07.09.05 - Seven players met at Eric’s pad (AKA Pierre’s Fun Parlor Northeast) to play a bit of poker. Among them, only three players were veterans of this first season of WCRPL play; Bill H, Josh M, and yours truly. More than half the field were newcomers, but that didn’t stop the chips from flying!
